Direct Primary Care is an innovative and personalized approach to managing your medical care. This affordable, patient-centered model gives our members access to unlimited primary care. A flat monthly fee covers all or most primary care services, consultative services, care coordination, and comprehensive care management. Our focus is to provide every patient with personalized care to meet his or her own specific health goals.

What can I expect as a patient?

You can expect an unlimited number of office visits per month and same-day or next day appointments and . You can expect shorter wait times, longer appointments, and after hours access to your provider for urgent matters. No more rushed visits or waiting weeks for an appointment.. You can have access to your provider in person or via the Telehealth platform. You can text or send a secure email to your provider 24/7 and receive a response within 24 hours, often in 1-2 hours.

How much does it cost?

New Patient Visits are $125. Our monthly membership fees for adults aged 18-65 is $80 per month. Over age 65 is $100 per month. This includes unlimited monthly visits with your Provider. We offer deeply discounted cash prices on lab tests, X-Rays, CT scans, MRI’s and mammograms. We are always seeking new ways to reduce costs for our patients and are continually negotiating low prices for high quality labs, imaging, and medications.

Do I still need insurance?

While we do not require insurance with membership, we do recommend a health care coverage option for major expenses such as hospitalizations and surgery. Many of our patients have been able to save thousands of dollars each year by combining their monthly membership with a high-deductible commercial plan or medical cost sharing plan.

Can my fees be reimbursed by my insurance company?

In some cases, you can submit a receipt for your membership fees or lab costs. Some insurance companies will apply these payments toward a deductible

What if I need to be referred to a specialist?

We collaborates with various specialists in our community. Many specialists are willing to provide cash pricing for visits and procedures that are often less than insurance costs. Our providers spend the time to carefully coordinate your care with a specialist team as needed.

Will my provider be available if I go into the hospital?

Our providers will not be able to admit you to the hospital, but will stay in close communication with you and will be ready to assume post-hospital follow-up care.

Are there medications that you don’t prescribe?

Unfortunately, we do not prescribe pain medication for chronic pain issues. New Opioid Prescribing Guidelines have recently been drafted to combat the prescription drug abuse epidemic, and those patients who use narcotics for chronic pain are encouraged to seek a pain treatment center. In accordance with Florida state law, we cannot prescribe any schedule II controlled substances used for the treatment of ADD or ADHD including Ritalin, Adderall, or Vyvanse.

How can I contact my provider after hours?

We know that illness and injuries don’t always happen during office hours. If you have any urgent issues after hours, we are are available via the Telehealth platform. You can also text or email 24/7 and will always get a response within 24 hours but usually within 1-2 hours.

Will you see patients on a fee-for-service basis if they are not members?

Do you offer well-woman exams, pap smears or pre-natal care?

No, we do not provide any well women's health services including pelvic exams, pap smears, or prenatal care.
